What sort of events and functions do you cater to?

Chez Nous Catering is fully equipped to cater to an extensive range of both corporate and private function occasions. We cater to events including, but not limited to:

Do you deliver outside of Brisbane?

We currently deliver to the Brisbane metro area, as well as surrounding suburbs. Deliveries outside of this area are not available during peak hours, including 9am-10am, 11am-12pm or after 3pm each day, however, special arrangements can be made if required and we will do our best to adapt to your needs.

Do you deliver outside of business hours, or on weekends?

Chez Nous Catering does deliver outside of hours, as well as weekends, however all deliveries required prior to 7am in the morning or after 5pm in the evening will incur an outside of hours surcharge of $50 + GST. Deliveries made after 6pm will incur an additional charge on top of this. For more information regarding delivery requirements and fees, please contact our office on 07 3844 8588.

What kind of notice do I need to provide for my order?

Chez Nous Catering ensures that orders are made fresh daily to guarantee quality of our product, therefore, it is required that all orders need to be placed by 2pm of the previous day. Of course, we do our best to accommodate short notice orders, however all short notice orders and their associated delivery times will be subject to availability.

What are your payment policies?

We have multiple payment options available in order to be versatile to your needs, however we do ask that all payments be settled within seven days from the date of function. Payment options include cheque, direct transfer or credit card. We accept most card types including Visa, Master Card and AMEX.

We like to reward our customers for paying promptly, so those who provide credit card details upon placing their order will have the 3% processing surcharge and associated GST waived.

All orders over $1,000.00 will require a non-refundable 20% deposit.

Can you organise event styling in addition to the catering?

We take great pride in our catered events and consider it an honour to work with you, your family or your business for your function. Not only are we able to assist you in catering, but we can also source and organise the appropriate venues, event styling and staff to assist in setting up and packing down your event or function.

Do you supply staffing for catered events?

Yes, we do. Chez Nous Catering have a fully-fledged events team, wait staff, chefs and event managers to ensure no matter the occasion, we can cater to your needs. Our service staff and chefs are available for hire Monday to Sunday, however service staff require a minimum of three hours work and chefs require a minimum of four hours work for any given function.

Do you cater to specific dietary requirements?

We endeavor to cater to most dietary requirements, preferences, allergies or restrictions, dependent on availability, including vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free. However, please keep in mind that while we understand the importance and necessary seriousness surrounding allergies, there is always the possibility of contamination depending on the produce sourced, or equipment used on products outside of Chez Nous Catering.

I no longer need my order, what is your cancellation policy?

At Chez Nous Catering, we understand that circumstances change. But as we order our produce fresh, we ask that if you no longer require our services, or need to cancel your order, you provide us with a minimum of twelve hours’ notice. Failure to comply with this notice period will incur the full charge of your cancelled order.

Can I collect my order, rather than having it delivered?

Unfortunately this option is not available. For delivery details, please contact the Chez Nous Catering team on 07 3844 8588.

Do you offer equipment hire?

Yes, Chez Nous Catering is able to offer a range of equipment hire, including; crockery, glassware, cutlery, linen, coffee urns and more. Please note that any loss or damage to the equipment provided will be invoiced after collection.

Can you custom design menus?

Yes, we specialise in designing and developing custom menus for your special event. Whether it’s a work function, special event, party or celebration, we relish in the opportunity to tailor design and custom create menus specific to your budget, taste and style preference.

Do you offer catering packages?

Chez Nous Catering has a range of sample catering packages to choose from for your convenience, including breakfast, morning/afternoon tea, conferences lunches and canapés. From lavish platters, to fully catered meals, we take the ease out of hosting functions and parties.

Do you charge cakeage for special occasion cakes provided by a customer, and if so, at what rate?

We charge a cakeage fee at $3.00 per head for special occasion cakes provided by customers at events. You can also enquire with us about our catered, whole gourmet cake options available for special events, birthdays and celebrations.

Is alcohol available as in inclusion in catering orders, or are you only licensed to serve alcohol provided by a customer?

Chez Nous Catering are not permitted to sell alcohol as we do not a hold liquor license permitting us to do so, however, as our staff are all RSA certified and trained, we are able to serve alcohol provided by the venue, or client.
